You join from wherever you already are.
Same doctor. Same plan. Same length, whether it is on video or in person. The only thing that changes is the room you are standing in.
What It Is
Virtual physical therapy has a reputation problem. People picture a stranger on a screen reading exercises off a sheet. That is not this. Initial evaluations and follow-up visits both run virtually here, matching the in-person schedule minute for minute: a full 60 minutes for your evaluation, then 45 focused minutes one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy at every follow-up.
The honest limit: hands do not reach through a screen. Manual therapy, soft tissue work and joint mobilization need a room. Almost everything else transfers. The evaluation still finds the cause, because most of finding it is watching how you move and asking better questions. Movement coaching still happens live, with corrections while you are doing it. Load management, the part that decides how much and how often, is a conversation either way. And your program gets rewritten every session instead of handed over once.
You have been putting this off because a drive across town was the one thing your week could not absorb. That was arithmetic, not avoidance. This version fits in a gap you already have, and the discovery call is free either way, by phone or video.
The same length as in person
What It Helps
Six more months of not being able to make the drive is still six more months of the same pain.

The same doctor, visit after visit.
A program that changes every session.
Care that fits a week already full.
Pairs Well With
Questions, Answered
For most of what physical therapy actually does, yes. The evaluation, the coaching, the progressions and the decisions about how much load you can handle all work on video, and a virtual visit runs the same length as the in-person one, a full 60 minutes for your evaluation and 45 focused minutes one-on-one at every follow-up. Where the clinic wins is hands-on treatment. Plenty of people mix the two, and if the obstacle is travel rather than preference, in-home visits are available as well.
It is the one thing a screen cannot do, and there is no point pretending otherwise. What fills the space is more of everything else: a careful assessment, live movement coaching while you are actually moving, honest load management week to week, and a program that gets adjusted every session instead of handed to you once. When hands-on work is the missing piece, we say so and get you into the room.
