We look at how you actually work.
The chair is not the enemy. Eight straight hours in it is. We fix the setup, then build a body that can handle a real workday.
What It Is
Ergonomics usually gets sold as a monitor height and a lumbar pillow. That buys you about a week. Then the ache comes back, because the setup was only half of what was wrong.
The other half is what your body can currently tolerate. A neck loaded the same way from nine to five needs a better position and more capacity to hold it. So both get looked at: how your desk, chair, screen and keyboard are actually arranged, and how your neck, shoulders, hips and mid-back behave once you have been at it since morning. That is a cause-first evaluation, applied to the eight hours where your pain is actually made.
You have powered through this for years because the work mattered more than the ache, and because other people were counting on the work getting done. That was never weakness. It was just unsustainable. A full hour with a Doctor of Physical Therapy to map it, then 45 focused minutes one-on-one at every visit after, is what it takes to make the job stop costing you.

Questions, Answered
Not for one person. Ergonomic work happens inside your appointment, in person or virtually, and virtual is often the better option here because Dr. Harris can watch you at your real desk instead of picturing it. In-home visits are available too. If you want a Doctor of Physical Therapy on site for a whole team, that is what the corporate wellness program covers.
Plenty. A standing desk trades one sustained position for another, and a full day upright loads your hips, low back and feet instead of your neck. There is no single perfect posture waiting to be found. What actually helps is a setup that fits your body, movement built into the day, and enough capacity to handle both.
It depends on your plan, and we would rather tell you straight than guess. Use the free benefits check and we will confirm exactly what your plan covers before you commit to anything. Prefer to just ask a person? Call (336) 214-5308.
