A practice founded in 2025, still early, still small enough that the next person hired helps decide what it becomes. Hour-long visits. No productivity quota. If that is the job you have been describing to yourself, read on.
You did not go to school for this.
Three patients an hour. A note you finish at nine at night. A plan of care shaped by what got authorized instead of what the person in front of you actually needs.
You are good at the job. That is exactly why the volume grinds. You can see what a real evaluation would find, and there is no room in the schedule to go find it.
What this practice is, honestly.
Harris Physical Therapy and Wellness was founded in 2025 by Dr. Christian Harris as a deliberate alternative to insurance-driven physical therapy. It is a concierge, one-on-one practice located inside TTG Hillsborough, a working training facility, at 360 Executive Ct Ste 101.
It is also early. Small. Still being built.
That is the honest pitch, and it is the reason to pay attention. There is no established machine here to slot into and no set of habits you have to inherit. Systems, standards, and how care gets delivered are all still being decided, and the next person hired gets a real hand in deciding them.
If you want a role where your opinion is already priced in, this is not that. If you have spent years wishing someone would just let you build it properly, read on.
How care is delivered here.
- Every appointment is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, every visit.
- Cause-first evaluation. The hour exists so the diagnosis can be right before the plan gets written.
- A plan with an endpoint, built around the four phases: Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent.
- Care in person, by telehealth, or in the patient's home.
- The clinic sits inside a gym, so return-to-load is watched rather than assumed.
Monthly education is built into the practice, not squeezed in when things are slow. Clinical staff meet monthly for education classes covering joint mobilization, neurodynamics, exercise progression and regression, and blood flow restriction. Whoever comes on board is in that room from month one.
Roles we accept applications for.
Clinical:
- Physical therapists
- New graduate physical therapists
New grads are genuinely welcome. Hour-long, one-on-one visits with direct mentorship from a board certified orthopedic specialist and residency-trained clinician is a rare first job, and it builds hands very quickly.
Non-clinical:
- Marketing
- Administration
- Human resources
- Finance
Applications are welcome even when nothing specific is posted. A strong person arriving at the right moment matters more than a job title being open.
Who this suits.
- You would rather explain the "why" to a patient than hand them a printout.
- You like being measured on whether people actually get better.
- Ambiguity does not rattle you. Early-stage means some things get figured out as they arrive.
- You want to keep learning after graduation, and you want that on the calendar, not in your own free time.
How to apply.
Send a resume and a short note to admin@harrisphysicaltherapyandwellness.com. Tell us what you want to be doing in three years and what part of your current job you would delete first.
Another year in a clinic that treats you as a units-per-day number is a year of your best clinical habits quietly eroding. Skills you do not get to use do not stay sharp.
If you have questions before you send anything, contact us.
